Spiritual Direction of Vocations

Description: This course introduces spiritual directors to a theology of vocations and the development of vocational identity.

Outcomes: Having fully engaged with this course, students will be able to (1) Describe the development of vocational awareness identity and (2) apply it to the direction of those discerning a particular vocation or general life direction.

Format: A self-paced “four-week” course consisting of four 15- to 20-minute instructional videos, each paired with integrative-reflective writing assignments and bi-weekly calls with a course mentor.
